The Portrait Process

The process starts before your session with a phone, e-mail or in-person consultation. I would like to find out from you what your expectations are, if you have any specific images in mind and whether you are looking for family or individual portraits.

A session usually takes about 2-3 hours with no limit to clothing changes so as to achieve the best quality photographs. I would request to see your outfits to better coordinate the colours.

While indoor sessions can be scheduled for any time, outdoor sessions are typically scheduled for early morning or late afternoon to take advantage of the most flattering light.

Whether your session is in studio or on-location, we will provide all necessary props and set designs.
If you have a sick child on the day of the session please call to reschedule. If you try to keep the appointment, we will most likely request that you reschedule if we notice your child is sick. Sick or uncomfortable children do not like to be photographed and we know that you will not love your portraits nearly as much as if he or she was in good health.

About two to four weeks later, after your session, all photographs will be placed on your own personal Web gallery that will be active for 30 days, so you can view them at your convenience and share them with family and friends. I will send you an e-mail letting you know when it’s ready.

Each gallery will include both color and black and white portraits, and perhaps a custom-designed collage.

Orders can be e-mailed, LINE, WhatsApp to me when you are ready. You are more than welcome to come to the studio to view the photographs. Depending on the type of products you order, items may take as long as six weeks before they’re ready for delivery.
